Game Night was a blast! We had 10 ladies there! A pretty good turn out for the first one. We played Rummikub and Scrabble. Meka lead us in a wonderful devotion based on Philippians 4:8.
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
Then we played Catch Phrase. Everyone had the best time. I hope more ladies are interested in coming next time. We all would love to have Game Night once a month! That is how much fun we had!
It was raining pretty hard when Mana and I arrived at church so I unloaded the car and went to park it. While I was doing that, she slipped on a wet place on the floor and hit the back of her head. She had a knot as big as a golf ball come up! We went home to put castor oil (helps the swelling go down) on it and to give her some Motrin. She begged to go back, so we did! She is ok now!
